What the Heck?! Wednesday....Shamrock

So, today for "What the Heck?!" Wednesday, I decided to look up the word "shamrock" seeing as how we just passed St. Patrick's Day. Here is the weirdest photo that came up when I googled it....

 

 

Guess they are referring to Shamrock Shakes at McD? Green Ronald is kind of spooky...

Things to Do Thursday! Paper Plate Rainbows

Looking for a fun craft to do with the kids for St. Patty's Day? It is Things to Do Thursday and I found a great craft to do just that! 

1. Take a paper plate and paint all the way around in a rainbow design beginning with the outer edge in red, next line inward in orange, then yellow, green, blue and purple. 

2. After it dries, cut the paper plate in half horizontally so you will end up with 2 rainbows (2 plate halves)

3. You can then add your own hanging design; long strands of crepe paper that coordinate with each color of the rainbow or a few strands of store bought shamrock metallic garland.

If you are looking for a way to attract the leprechaun, this is a good way to do it.

Since I chose my son's baseball pic as the topic of my "Wordless Wednesday" post on my other blog, I decided to google the word baseball and see just what I could come up with as one of the strangest photos when that word is searched. Here is what I came up with....

Speed through Sweeping Chores!

Scoop up final floor sweepings that are too fine to grip by wetting a piece of newspaper and dabbing it on the pile. The fine dust and dirt will stick to the paper and lift easily off the floor!
